The design for the Brno City station area is inspired by the theme of history in that it explores the historical and cultural heritage of central Europe. The masterplan imagines the area as a culturally vibrant community with eco-friendly environmental interventions, making way for the international railway planning in the coming future. Brno city center is conceived as a new gateway of Czech Republic’s most important transportation city. The vision responds to the aim of positioning Brno city as a major transportation gateway, contributing to Czech Republic’s economic diversification and its current infrastructure system.
