《2023普立茲克獎得主: 大衛·奇普菲爾德》
國際公認的建築界最高榮譽普立茲克建築獎（Pritzker Prize ），2023頒給了英國建築師、城市規劃師大衛·奇普菲爾德爵士（Sir David Alan Chipperfield CH），是該獎項第52位得主。
他於2004年被授予大英帝國司令勳章（CBE），2010年被封為爵士，並被授予名譽勳位。
獲獎原因是他「永恆的現代設計正視了氣候急迫性、改變社會關係並且重振城市」。
奇柏菲爾德以舊建築翻修與重建聞名，翻新這些建築以適應現代，同時尊重它們的歷史、文化並保護自然環境。
奇柏菲爾德的代表作之一是重建德國柏林的「新博物館」（Neues Museum），這座興建於19世紀的博物館在二次世界大戰中遭大肆破壞；此外，奇柏菲爾德也重建了16世紀的威尼斯地標「舊行政官邸大樓」（Procuratie Vecchie）。

"2023 Pritzker Prize Laureate David Chipperfield
The internationally acclaimed Pritzker Architecture Prize, the highest honor in the field of architecture, has been awarded in 2023 to British architect and urban planner Sir David Alan Chipperfield CH. He is the 52nd laureate of this prestigious award. In 2004, he was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), and in 2010, he was knighted and granted an honorary knighthood.
He has been honored for his "timeless modern designs that address the urgency of climate change, transform social relationships, and revitalize urban spaces."
Chipperfield is renowned for his work in the renovation and restoration of historic buildings, adapting them to the modern era while respecting their historical and cultural significance, as well as preserving the natural environment.
One of Chipperfield's notable achievements is the reconstruction of the "Neues Museum" in Berlin, Germany, originally built in the 19th century and severely damaged during World War II. Additionally, he has also restored the 16th-century landmark "Procuratie Vecchie" in Venice, Italy."
