HAKKA CULTURAL MUSEUM

Our Design For The Taiwan Hakka Culture Museum Is Inspired By The Natural Topography Of The Muilai Ton Lou Mountainous Area And The Traditional Hakka Social Structure. Hakka Civilization Has A History Of Adapting To New Land And Maintaining Balance With Nature. Thus, We Approach The Design With An Emphasis On The Strong Relationship Between The Museum And Existing Natural Landscape And Topography.

The Clustering Of Museums Gives The Opportunity To Intersect Nature And Landscape Elements, Creating A More Intimate Experience For Visitors. Blurring The Boundary Between Artificial Walls And Nature, Through A Series Of Differentiated Cladding Components, Contributes To The Striking Entryway To The Museum. The Facade Creates Dappled Light, Animating The Space And Diffusing Natural Illumination.
