設計教育建築，思考點得從絕大多數的使用者---全體師生出發。在建築之上，還有個更重要的目的：啟發新一代的靈感與想法，創造積極勵志的學習環境。以此為目標，針對此案，特別由教育品質與產業端著手，化繁為簡，打造一個極度純粹的建築量體。
想像一個人人能在其中愉快學習的環境，藉著明亮與開放式的空間打破職業學校沉悶的印象，而生態永續的思路也反映在大面積植栽綠地、節能設計、雨水回收池、太陽能板屋頂等，將理念自然而然融入環境之中，創造為教育所用的生態綠建築。
Pei-Men’s Agricultural And Vocational School Was Designed With The Principle Of Championing Green And Sustainable Environment, Befitting Of The Standard Of Education At The Institution And Drawing Influence From The Local Area’s Agricultural Industry.
A Number Of Ecological And Green Architecture Practices Were Implemented Into The Design Of Pei-Men. The Projects Rooftop Garden Features Solar Panel Technology, Harnessing Southern Taiwan’s Bright Rays To Reduce The School’s Overall Energy Input, And A Water Collection System, Introducing A Water Cycle System Within The School Grounds To Further Aid The Growth Of The Ecological Landscape.
With The Aim To Create A Carbon Neutral Environment At The School, Each Energy-Saving System Works In Synergy To Balance Out Both Financial Costs And Carbon Emissions. The Building Is Designed To Suit A South-North Orientation, Reducing Heat Impact Of The Western Sun. The Buildings Black Canopied Window Sills Help Juxtapose The Burgundy And White Style And Aid Cooling Of The Interior.
